Buddha travel and tours packages are becoming very popular nowadays. The Great Buddha was revered as the Enlightened One and many of his teachings are spread across the world. A Buddhist Circuit entails walking in Buddha’s footsteps and visiting His places of worship and pilgrimage. From the place he was born at Lumbini to where he attained enlightenment and journeyed to, IRCTC has launched a special Buddhist Circuit tour in India that covers this journey.

Buddha’s Festival is a joyful time and Buddhists around the world celebrate it with zest and enthusiasm. Beginning on the night of the full moon every May, homes are decorated with lanterns made from paper and wood and lights are lit up. Meditation, prayers, and Buddha’s life works are peached and monks pray in temples, pouring water over His statue.
